Hey runners, in today's newsletter, we're hitting all the bases.

The Commonwealth Games have been a focal point this week, with the marquee event on the horizon. Less than two weeks after setting a world record in the mile, Josh Kerr is aiming for something he's never achieved: a Commonwealth Games medal (and on home turf).

Elsewhere, a nine-year-old has completed nine marathons to raise funds for his father's charity, but he isn't stopping there.

And as always, we round things out with the practical stuff: how to prevent nasty blisters, sprint workouts you can crush at any level, and a reality check for how much of a disruption in training will actually affect your marathon time.

Happy running!
